PERFECT JEANS X SHOPIFY

Shopify is partnering with Perfect Jeans. Through its Sustainability Fund, Shopify has taken significant steps in carbon removal by collaborating with a wide range of companies across various sectors to fight climate change. These partnerships include a number of innovative companies focused on direct air capture, drone-based reforestation, mineralisation processes, low-carbon concrete products, soil enhancement technologies, carbon storage solutions, and converting CO2 into sustainable fuels. These efforts are part of Shopify’s broader mission to support and scale carbon removal technologies, with a commitment that has reached 32 million USD. The companies Shopify has partnered with for these initiatives include Arbor, Captura, Carbon To Stone, Cella, CREW, Inplanet, Noya, Sustaera, DroneSeed, Carbin Minerals, CarbonBuilt, Loam, 44.01, Twelve, and Remora.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Every small step makes a difference. Take good care of your clothes and shop at stores that prioritise sustainability. Remember, price and quality often go hand in hand. Buying cheap jeans usually means they won’t last as long as more expensive ones. This leads to more frequent purchases and more clothing production – which harms the environment. Only wash your clothes when necessary, use low temperatures whenever possible, and hang them to dry instead of using a tumble dryer. Don’t forget to recycle or donate your used clothing.

ANIMAL WELFARE

We believe it is unacceptable to harm animals to produce clothing, which is why we have chosen not to use wool, animal hides, leather, down, feathers, or fur in any of our garments. The label you see on the back of our jeans is made from high-quality PU leather. It closely resembles real leather but does not age in the same way. On each product page, you can always read exactly what the item is made from.

CO2 EMISSIONS

We place great emphasis on CO2 emissions across delivery, energy usage, packaging, and especially waste. Our packages contain only the essentials. For this reason, you’ll need to print your own return label if you wish to return or exchange items. At Perfect Jeans, we have a very low return rate, meaning around 80% of the return labels we would otherwise send out would go to waste. That’s why we also encourage you to reuse the shipping bag for returns. At Perfect Jeans, we extract data from our system before launching a new collection. This helps us reduce waste and avoid overproduction. Perfect Jeans are made to be washed at 30 degrees and air-dried afterwards.

FASHION THAT LASTS

During the development of Perfect Jeans, we focused heavily on creating high-quality products that retain their shape and colour even after extended use. Our very first product was the black jeans. A common issue with black jeans is that they often fade to grey and lose their appeal after just a few washes. We worked on solving this problem for a full year before finally launching the first Perfect Jeans. This means you can wear clothes that continue to look great, while also saving money by not having to replace them so often. We make clothes that are designed to look good, last longer, and provide outstanding everyday comfort – all while being kind to the environment. Who said you can’t have it all?
